Local budgets of Vinnytsia region during January – June 2020 comparing to the same period in 2019 have been replenished by more than 160.0 million UAH or almost 4%. This was reported by acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk. Personal income tax revenues have increased by 5.1 percent (+139.3 million UAH) comparing to the 1st half of 2019. Single tax payments have increased by 9.5% (+55.8 million UAH).
In total, according to the official, the local communities treasuries received more than 4 billion 247 million 584.3 thousand UAH of taxes, fees and other payments during January – June 2020.
According to Oleh Martyniuk, the top three of the most important budget-forming payments to local budgets are the personal income tax (67.6% of revenues), single tax (15.2% of revenues) and land tax (9.3% of revenues).
Therefore, these taxes need to be relied upon when filling local budgets. Local self-governments in cooperation with the Tax Service and other relevant bodies should seek reserves to expand the tax base.
