As harvesting forest season annually adds significant revenues to community budgets, the Main Directorate of the STS in Volyn region draws attention of business entities to strict compliance with the law during the collection, processing and export of harvested products.
“The Volyn blueberry picking season is in full swing. Therefore, the leaders of territorial communities cannot allow the harvesting of berries for commercial purposes to be carried out illegally. If the community leader has received information about procurement activities outside the legal field, the Tax Service should be informed immediately. Throughout the harvesting season, special commissions and mobile groups work in the region, the task of which is to ensure that the forest resources are not taken out without paying the relevant taxes.” – emphasized Head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Volyn region Svitlana Savchuk.
