Only 11 out of 168 audited entrepreneurs worked without violations in Zaporizhzhia resorts

Holiday season is in full swing on the Azov coast of Zaporizhzhia region. Unfortunately, a significant segment of entrepreneurs, wanting to earn as much as possible from vacationers, violate rules of tax legislation and create unfair competition for those business entities that work “in white”.

Tax officials are conducting audits of business entities located in places of public recreation within the framework of operation “Resort 2020”.

Interim results of control and audit work are quite telling – specialists of Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Zaporizhzhia region conducted 168 actual audits and of these only 11 audited outlets complied with all the necessary legislative requirements.

Violators were fined more than 1 million UAH according to the audit results.

As the tax officials found out, business representatives often “sin” by failing to comply with the order of accounting for goods at the place of sale, also do not conduct settlement transactions through RCO; sell tobacco products in excess of the maximum retail price, alcohol beverages – sell at below prices and sell excisable products without licenses.

Tax service of Zaporizhzhia region again emphasizes the need to comply with tax legislation by all entrepreneurs and enterprises on the Azov Sea shores during the holiday season. After all, legal work allows business representatives to conduct successful, legal and profitable economic activities, and at the same time ensures full and timely filling of communities’ budgets and the state.
