Economic and social stability in Mykolaiv region is ensured through the timely filling of local budgets with real funds transferred to strengthen the financial capacity of communities, as well as implementation of social and infrastructural projects in the region. Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Leonid Korchagin reported that local budgets received almost 3.9 billion UAH of tax payments during January – July 2020 as a result of active cooperation with the taxpayers and meetings with business entities. Specified amount is 223.1 million UAH more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
Leonid Korchagin stated that budgetary revenues growth occurred, first of all, due to the taxpayers’ honesty in transfer of tax payments and high-quality service of business representatives of Mykolaiv region.
It should be noted that the main source of filling local treasuries of Mykolaiv region is the personal income tax; its share in the total amount of revenues to local budgets is 68.8% and the payment amount of which amounted more than 2.6 billion UAH during January – July 2020. Personal income tax revenues have increased by 194.6 million UAH or 7.9% comparing to the same period in 2019.
In addition, taxpayers transferred single tax in the amount of 478.2 million UAH, land fees – 419.8 million UAH, excise tax on sale of excisable products by the retail trade entities – 97.9 million UAH, income tax – 77 million UAH, tax on real estate other than land – 69.9 million UAH, rent for the special water use and subsoil – 26.5 million UAH, license fees – 16.2 million UAH, environmental tax – 13.5 million UAH.
