Employers of Mykolaiv region paid 3.729 billion UAH of the single contribution to compulsory state social insurance (SSC) to the state trust funds during January – August 2020, including 453.1 million UAH in August 2020. SSC revenues have increased by 5.6% comparing to the same period in 2019; additional revenues amounted 197.1 million UAH, including 24.1 million UAH in August 2020.
Positive dynamics of SSC payment is achieved, first of all, due to cooperation with employers of Mykolaiv region and their understanding of contributions’ priority for social needs. Important role in this is also achieved by information work aimed at un-shadowing the labor market and raising level of employees’ wages.
Tax service of Mykolaiv region emphasizes that only legal work involves appropriate contributions to the budget. That is why the tax authorities will continue to monitor compliance with tax legislation regarding payment of wages and other incomes to citizens in order to fulfill tasks of ensuring the implementation of state policy on the administration of single contribution for the timely implementation of pension benefits and social assistance.
