Individuals – owners of the real estate other than land paid more than 27.7 million UAH to the local budgets of Poltava region during January – August 2020. Revenues have increased by 7.9 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019. This was reported by Main Directorate of the STS in Poltava region.
Reminder! Real estate other than land tax is paid by individuals and legal entities that are owners of residential and non-residential real estate.
Individuals are charged with tax by the tax authorities, handing them tax notifications-decisions. In 2019 citizens pay real estate tax on objects that were in possession in 2019.
Owners of residential real estate, the total area of which exceeds 300 square meters for apartment and / or 500 square meters for a house, pay an additional 25 thousand UAH per year for each object of such residential real estate.
Individuals pay the tax within 60 days from the date of delivery of tax notification-decision.
