Taxpayers of the real estate other than land paid 92 million 953.7 thousand UAH of this payment to local budgets of Ternopil region during January – August 2020. This amount exceeded expected revenues by 18.2 million UAH. Revenues have increased by 10.4 million UAH comparing to the same period in 2019.
It is worth noting that the biggest share of payment belongs to real estate owners – legal entities, which is 53.3%. They paid 49 million 555.3 thousand UAH of the real estate tax. This is 12.2 million UAH more than during January – August 2019.
Regional residents paid almost 43 million 398.4 thousand UAH of the real estate tax, which exceeded the last year’s revenues by 8.7 million UAH during 8 months in 2019.
Reminder! The real estate other than land tax is paid by individuals and legal entities that are owners of residential and non-residential real estate.
Legal entities independently determine amount of payable tax in the declaration and pay tax for 2020. Individuals are charged by the tax by the tax authorities who hand them tax notifications-decisions. In 2020, citizens pay real estate tax on objects that were in possession in 2019.
Please note that individuals pay tax within 60 days from the date of tax notification-decision delivery.
