“According to results of the Declaration campaign 2020, there are 127 official millionaires in Vinnytsia region. Their number has increased by 32 people comparing to 2019. Total amount of income declared by Vinnytsia millionaires reached almost 695.3 million UAH. Tax agents have already paid nearly 66.2 million UAH of the personal income tax and 7.2 million UAH of the military levy. According to recalculations, they will pay 18.9 million UAH of the personal income tax and almost 2.2 million UAH of the military levy to the budget” – emphasized Head of the Main Directorate of the STS in Vinnytsia region Oleh Martyniuk.
He stated that according to statistics, the biggest number of declarants received their millions income from the sale of movable and immovable property, namely 51 people. Another 26 citizens declared foreign income. Revenues in the form of dividends and salaries were received by 20 millionaires. Income in the form of inheritance was received by 10 Vinnytsia residents. 6 people declared income from independent professional activity. Several persons reported income from investment assets, income from leasing property, income in the form of royalties and income in the form of additional benefits.
In total, as the official summed up, 21.8 thousand Vinnytsia residents reported their last year’s income during 8 months of 2020, declaring almost 1 billion 671 million UAH of income. Of the total number of declarants, more than 5.4 thousand citizens used their right to obtain a tax rebate. After the recalculation, they received reimbursement totaling more than 12.6 million UAH of the personal income tax. As a result of recalculations, those who had to declare their income were required to pay 45.6 million UAH of the personal income tax and almost 7 million UAH of the military levy. So far, the budget received more than 5.1 million UAH from these amounts.
