Main Directorate of the STS in Luhansk region reported that work of 21 thousand 424 citizens was legalized during January – August 2020 as a result of measures taken to control employers in compliance with the legislation on registration of employment relations with employees. The budget additionally received 13.8 million UAH of the single contribution, 11.3 million UAH of the personal income tax (PIT) and 900 thousand UAH of military levy during January – August 2020. Work of 3 thousand 880 citizens was legalized in August 2020 – the budget additionally received 1.3 million UAH of the single contribution, 1.1 million UAH of the personal income tax and 90 thousand UAH of the military levy.
In addition, 862 citizens who carried out illegal business activities were identified and involved in state registration during 8 months of 2020. Specifically, 826.7 thousand UAH of the single contribution and 458.7 thousand UAH of the single tax were paid as a result of measures taken to legalize their business activities.
