Personal Income tax is one of the main budget-forming taxes. Gradual revenues growth from this tax is very important for local budgets of Dnipropetrovsk region.
Given that the country is taking measures to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus in Ukraine, the funds coming to local budgets of Dnipropetrovsk region are significant lever for this counteraction.
According to results of January – August 2020, the taxpayers transferred 10 billion 13.7 million UAH of the personal income tax to local budgets, which is 430 million UAH more than revenues during the corresponding period in 2019.
The next source that forms the development budget of Dnipropetrovsk region is the single tax, which was transferred in the amount of 1 billion 999.2 million UAH during January – August 2020.
“One of the crucial conditions for creating a highly developed market economy is the formation of local self-government as effectively functioning part of the public sector.” – emphasized Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Dnipropetrovsk region Anna Chub.
