Budgets of all levels received 10 million 964.9 thousand UAH of the environmental tax from business entities of Ternopil region during January – August 2020.
Herewith, 6.978.7 thousand UAH of this payment was transferred to the general fund of the state budget, which is 1.493.8 thousand UAH more than in 2019, namely +59.7% of expected revenues. 2 million 608.5 thousand UAH was additionally paid.
Special funds received 3.986.2 thousand UAH of the “eco-tax” during January – August 2020. Revenues growth has amounted 483.9 thousand UAH or + 13.8% comparing to the corresponding period in 2019. Payment exceeded expected revenues by 56.1% or 1.431.9 thousand UAH.
Reminder! Collection of the environmental tax is regulated by Articles 240-250 Section VIII of the Tax Code of Ukraine. Eco-tax rates depend on the type of pollutants or level of the waste hazard.
