Declaration campaign was postponed in 2020. The deadline for submitting declaration expired on July 1 and the deadline for payment of the personal income tax and military levy based on the declaration results was September 30.
A total of 14.6 thousand income declarations for 2019 were submitted (3.6 billion UAH declared). One third of them are income declarations, the other part are tax rebate declarations.
8.8 thousand declarations were submitted for the tax rebate; the reimbursed amount is 23 million UAH.
Tax rebate for citizens is actually a partial reimbursement of the personal income tax paid by them.
The taxpayer is entitled to obtain tax rebate if he / she paid interest for the use of a mortgage loan, tuition fees to domestic educational institutions, including preschool education, the cost of insurance payments (insurance premiums) and pension contributions.
A total of 120 million UAH of the PIT and 18 million UAH of military levy were declared for reimbursement in 2020.
283 citizens declared more than a million UAH of income, of which 70 million UAH of the PIT and 9 million UAH of military levy will be paid.
