Business entities of Ternopil region paid 228.8 million UAH of the value added tax to the state budget in October 2020.
“Revenues growth comparing to October 2019 has amounted to 102.4 million UAH or 81.1%. Payment exceeded the expected revenues by 63.8%, which is 89.1 million UAH more” – stated Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Ivan Punko.
According to Tax official positive dynamics of the VAT revenues is a result of improved administration and increased efficiency in work of regional tax specialists to combat risks.
In total, business entities of Ternopil region transferred 1 billion 300.7 million UAH of the value added tax to the State Budget of Ukraine during January – October 2020. Actual revenues have increased by 295.1 million UAH or 29.4% than during the corresponding period in 2019. In addition, the treasury received 193.5 million UAH from Ternopil businesses, as the payment exceeded expectations by 17.5%.
As of the beginning of November, 3212 VAT payers were registered at regional tax authorities, including 2732 legal entities and 480 individuals – entrepreneurs. Their number has increased comparing to beginning of November 2019 by 75 legal entities and 30 by individuals – entrepreneurs.
