Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region reported that taxpayers paid 24.7 billion UAH to the consolidated budget during January – November 2020, which is 2.9 billion UAH or 13.3% more than the last year’s payment for the corresponding period.
Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Odessa region Julia Shadevska stated that the increase in payments to budgets is a result of joint work of regional Tax service and business entities of all forms of ownership in the region.
Specifically, 11.0 billion UAH was paid to the state budget, which is 2.2 billion UAH more than during January – November 2019; amount of 13.7 billion UAH was paid to local budgets of Odessa region, which is 5.6% more than during 11 months of 2019.
Among the main sources of the consolidated budget are:
- personal income tax – 10.5 billion UAH,
- value added tax – 5.0 billion UAH,
- single tax – 2.2 billion UAH,
- property tax – 2.8 billion UAH,
- land tax and rent – 2.4 billion UAH,
- corporate income tax – 2.3 billion UAH.
Julia Shadevska stated that the main task of regional Tax service is coordinated and constructive work of tax specialists with representatives of business community for the timely payment of taxes, fees and payments to budgets of all levels. In turn, the STS continues to introduce innovative methods of tax administration and electronic services and taxpayers show a high level of civic awareness towards payment of taxes.
