Employers of Odessa region paid 820.9 million UAH of the military levy to the state budget during January – November 2020. Payments have increased by more than 86.8 million UAH or 11.8% comparing to the corresponding period in 2019.
Particularly in November 2020, the taxpayers paid 84.5 million UAH for the defense capabilities of Ukrainian army, which is 13.2 million UAH or 18.5% more than during the corresponding period in 2019.
Positive dynamics in payment of military levy testifies to the honesty of employers, who responsibly pay salaries to employees, withhold and transfer levy to the budget that strengthens Ukrainian economic security.
Reminder! According to current legislation, the military levy taxpayers are resident individuals who receive income both in Ukraine and abroad, non-resident individuals who receive income in Ukraine, as well as tax agents.
Its rate is 1.5 percent of the taxation object. Military levy is fully transferred to the state budget.
