Taxpayers of Ternopil region transferred 4 billion 203.5 million UAH of payments to local budgets during January – November 2020. “This exceeded expected revenues by 8.6%. As a result, budgets additionally received 204.5 million UAH” – stated Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Ivan Punko. Payment has increased by 291.9 million UAH or 7.5% comparing to the corresponding period in 2019.
“The most territorial communities of Ternopil region received the following payments: personal income tax, single tax, land tax, real estate other than land tax, excise tax on retail sale of excisable products” – specified Ivan Punko.
Thus, 2 billion 839.1 million UAH of the personal income tax was paid during January – November 2020, which is 209.1 million UAH more than in 2019. Representatives of small business transferred 665.4 million UAH of the single tax during January – November 2020, which is 44.9 million UAH more than during 11 months of 2019. Land payment amounted to 326.9 million UAH. Revenues from real estate other than land tax amounted to 127.2 million UAH, which is 17 million UAH more than during January – November 2019. Business entities dealing with excisable products paid 96.8 million UAH of excise tax on the retail sale of excisable products, which is 1.2 million UAH more than in 2019.
Taxpayers transferred 461.1 million UAH to local treasuries in November 2020, which is 19.5% more than expected. As follows, budgets additionally received 75.3 million UAH. Revenues growth has amounted to 53.3 million UAH or 13.1% more comparing to November 2019.
Ivan Punko informed that legislatively were created all the prerequisites for increasing local budget revenues but more principled position of local self-governments is needed. “It is worth noting that as a result of decentralization, the filling of local treasuries has increased. After all, local self-governments are the owners of their territories and, like no other, should be interested in a strong financial base. For its part, the Tax service is open to cooperation and is ready to provide the necessary advisory assistance” – assured Tax official.
