“Ternopil business declared 485 million UAH of budgetary reimbursement of the value added tax. This was stated by 135 business entities of Ternopil region” – informed Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Ternopil region Ivan Punko.
He stated that according to the introduction of Electronic Register of VAT reimbursement, the process of returning budgetary funds to the taxpayers is carried out transparently and automatically. Taxpayers of Ternopil region already received 500 million UAH of the VAT from the state budget in cash to the current account during January – November 2020.
In addition, specialists of regional Tax service prevented reimbursement of illegally declared 6 million UAH of value added tax during 11 months of 2020.
Total balance of claimed unreimbursed VAT on the current account is 67 million UAH, including: 51 million UAH under audit and budgetary reimbursement procedure according to requirements of the Tax Code of Ukraine and relevant regulations and 16 million UAH in court and administrative proceedings.
“By the way, taxpayers have opportunity to track and check the stage of their payment online, using the electronic service Electronic cabinet which is posted on the official web portal of the State Tax Service of Ukraine” – added Ivan Punko.
