Regional taxpayers transferred more than 885.4 million UAH during January – November 2020. This amount exceeds revenues over the corresponding period in 2019 by 162.8 million UAH or 22.5%. This was reported by Main Directorate of the STS in Chernivtsi region.
Tax specialists noted that the value added tax occupies 43% of state budget revenues.
Particularly, regional taxpayers paid more than 129.8 million UAH in November 2020. As follows, the indicative task was fulfilled by 184.3% or almost 59.4 million UAH was additionally provided.
Regarding the reimbursement, regional enterprises (manufacturers and exporters of products) declared 182.9 million UAH of the VAT budgetary reimbursement during January – November 2020. At the beginning of December 2020, more than 177.1 million UAH of the value added tax was reimbursed from the budget without violation of deadlines.
“Simplified electronic VAT reimbursement procedure helps to stimulate investment climate, economic growth and create equal competitive conditions and is one of the ways to replenish current assets. But at the same time, the number of “risk” has also increased – the tax authorities have prevented illegal reimbursement for 39 taxpayers in the amount of 4.8 million UAH since the beginning of 2020 (3.7 million UAH during 11 months of 2019)” – emphasized Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Chernivtsi region Vitalii Shpak.
