Local budgets of Zaporizhzhia region received 976 million UAH of the land tax during January – November 2020 (excluding data of large taxpayers registered at the Eastern Office of Large Taxpayers Office of the STS).
Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov reported that 746 million UAH of the paid amount was provided by legal entities, 230 million UAH – by individuals.
Zaporizhzhia local treasury received 319.4 million UAH of land payment during January – November 2020. Landowners and tenants of Energodar city, Kamyansko-Dniprovskyi and Velykobilozerskyi districts paid 120 million UAH to budgets; Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts – 95.3 million UAH; Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 86.4 million UAH; Yakymivskyi and Priazovskyi – 73 million UAH; Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – 66.8 million UAH; Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 56.8 million UAH; Orikhivskyi and Huliaipilskyi districts – 51.7 million UAH; Tokmak and Chernihivskyi district – 50.4 million UAH, etc.
Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region emphasized that the land payment accounted for almost 11% of the total revenues of local treasuries. During the payment administration, the tax specialists carry out explanatory work with the land users regarding voluntary and full rent declaration. Also, the tax specialists jointly with local authorities identify individuals who illegally use land, involve new taxpayers in land tax and rent, take measures to repay tax debt and enter into additional agreements to existing lease agreements.
In total, there are 9185 legal entities and 3642 individuals in Zaporizhzhia region.
