Representatives of Zaporizhzhia business paid 107 million UAH of the income tax to local budgets during January – November 2020 (excluding data of large taxpayers registered at the Eastern Office of Large Taxpayers Office of the STS). Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Zaporizhzhia region Roman Afonov reported that budgets received almost 21 million UAH from revenues of private and communal enterprises and institutions in November 2020.
During January – November 2020, the biggest payments were transferred by business entities of the regional center, namely 72.8 million UAH; Melitopol city, Melitopolskyi and Veselivskyi districts – 11 million UAH; Berdyansk city, Berdyanskyi and Primorskyi districts – 8.5 million UAH; Energodar city, Kamyansko-Dniprovskyi and Velykobilozerskyi districts – 3.4 million UAH; Tokmak city, Tokmakskyi and Chernihivskyi district – 2.4 million UAH; Polohivskyi, Bilmatskyi and Rozivskyi districts – 2.3 million UAH; Vasylivskyi and Mykhailivskyi districts – 1.7 million UAH; Zaporizhzhia region – 1.6 million UAH.
In total, about a thousand business entities in the region are income taxpayers. Basic tax rate is 18%. Passive income received by non-residents in Ukraine is taxed at 15, 6 and 20% rates.
Reminder! According to the budget distribution, 100% of the income tax of enterprises and financial institutions of communal ownership is credited to district and city budgets and treasuries of united territorial communities.
