Taxpayers of Luhansk region transferred 45.9 million UAH of the environmental tax to the consolidated budget during January – November 2020. Specifically, 31.4 million UAH was credited to the special fund of local budgets and 14.5 million UAH to the state budget.
Main Directorate of the STS in Luhansk region noted that more than 1.4 thousand legal entities and individuals paying environmental tax are registered at territorial bodies of the STS in Luhansk region during January – November 2020. They emit pollutants into the atmosphere through stationary or mobile sources of pollution, discharge pollutants directly into water bodies, dispose of waste, and so on.
It should be added that the environmental tax is the main source of financing actions directed on environmental protection, minimization of negative influence on it of economic activity and rational use of natural resources.
