, published 31 August 2021 at 17:07

Procedure of the one-time (special) voluntary declaration was discussed by acting Chairman of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Yevhen Oleinikov during a joint briefing with Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev and the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Sergii Marchenko.

“Declaration procedure is completely voluntary. Moreover, the declarant does not have to confirm origin sources of income. In fact, the STS trusts the declarant.” – emphasized Yevhen Oleinikov.

He stated that the one-time (special) voluntary declaration will be submitted by declarant to the State Tax Service of Ukraine through the private part of the E-cabinet. This opportunity will be available tomorrow on September 1, at 09 hours 00 minutes.

Taxpayer who wishes to submit the voluntary declaration will be able to fill in declaration, sign it and send it to the STS. After that, the declaration is subject to internal verification within 20 days.

“STS, during the audit, finds out whether the declared assets really exist. This applies particularly to funds in banks. STS checks whether funds are on the account opened as a part of the one-time declaration campaign and correctness of rates” – specified Yevhen Oleinikov.

If information discrepancy is found, the payer will be notified and asked to correct the errors.

“There will not be a situation when results of participation in the declaration procedure will accrue any additional obligations or this information will be used for other purposes than the one-time voluntary declaration”– emphasized Yevhen Oleinikov.

According to Yevhen Oleinikov if taxpayers have additional questions, the STS is ready to accept them at service centers, inform through the Contact Center and provide individual tax consultations.
