According to Legal Regulation Department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region 420 lawsuits worth more than 305 million UAH have been considered in courts of various instances with participation of the tax lawyers since the beginning of 2020.
Of these, 295 cases were resolved in favor of the territorial bodies of the State Tax Service in Khmelnytskyi region, amounting 226 million UA which is 70.2% of the number and more than 74.1% of the amount.
“Traditionally, the tax lawyers prepare carefully and gather a strong evidence base to have strong position in the court. This factor is decisive in the lawsuit. At the same time, evidence collected by the tax authorities is usually open to the taxpayers and they can always assess whether the case will have a judicial perspective. The main thing for us is to protect the state’s economic interests.” – emphasized Head of the Legal Regulation Department of the Main Directorate of the STS in Khmelnytskyi region Olena Naporchuk.
