Local budgets of all levels of Chernihiv region received 3.947.2 million UAH of taxes and fees during January – August 2020.
The biggest share in the total amount of paid taxes (63.1%) is occupied by the personal income tax, which was transferred in the amount of 2.490.4 million UAH, of which 498.1 million UAH was directed to the regional budget, the rest – to budgets of united territorial communities and districts.
Property tax (for land plots, residential and non-residential real estate, as well as luxury cars) was transferred in the amount of 613.8 million UAH (15.6% of budget revenues of territorial communities). Single tax on entrepreneurial activity was transferred in the amount of 533.4 million UAH (13.5% of the total amount).
The remaining taxes and fees are 7.8% of revenues, namely: income tax was paid in the amount of 44.6 million UAH; rent for the use of natural resources – 109.1 million UAH, excise tax on the sale of alcohol beverages, tobacco products and fuel – 121.3 million UAH; fees for production licenses and sale of excisable products – 14 million UAH; environmental tax – 13.6 million UAH.
More than a quarter of revenues to local budgets from taxes were provided by public administration, education and health care institutions (26.3% of the total amount or 1.037 million UAH). Agriculture representatives (18.4% or 724.5 million UAH) and industry representatives also paid significant taxes (14.5% or 572.8 million UAH). Particularly, 604.9 million UAH from entrepreneurial activity and property fees (15.3% of the total amount) was transferred by citizens.
Business entities operating in trade and public catering paid 305.8 million UAH (7.7% of local budget revenues), transport – 224.3 million UAH (5.7 percent), forestry – 118.5 million UAH (3%), construction – 58 million UAH (1.5%).
