Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region provided personal income tax in the amount of more than 4.4 billion UAH to local budgets of Mykolaiv region during January – November 2020. The PIT revenues have increased by 433.8 million UAH or 10.8% comparing to the corresponding period in 2019.
Personal income tax has traditionally remained one of the main sources of local budgets’ revenues. In the structure of local treasuries’ revenues, the PIT holds the leading position – almost 68% in the total amount of tax revenues.
Acting Head of Main Directorate of the STS in Mykolaiv region Dmytro Prokofiev stated that the PIT revenues growth was ensured due to such factors as: conducting effective individuals income declaration campaign; involvement of citizens who lease land shares in taxation; growth of the wage bill; reducing the number of business entities that pay wages to employees below the statutory minimum.
